Our Coronavirus protocol will allow us to continue working in a responsible manner during this unsettling time.
We are all concerned about our families and loved ones with the current situation. We have had a few clients express concern about our ecology field surveys and the risk of Coronavirus. We are closely following guidance issued by the government as well as Natural England and our Chartered Institute, CIEEM. Due to the nature of our work however we are able to minimise risk as there should be no direct contact between staff and we have put in place barrier precautions for any work that involves entering buildings. However it is our intention to avoid meeting clients on site unless it is absolutely necessary, i.e. for access, etc.
We are able to continue with overnight work, such as bat and great crested newt surveys, with our converted work vehicle that provides safe and hygienic accommodation. However every site is unique and therefore all field work will be subject to a site-specific Risk Assessment.
Our Coronavirus protocol can be viewed here, which I hope will give you some peace of mind during this unsettling time.
