Shaun, Louise, Tom and the team have helped our Architectural clients with several complex ecological issues including Great Crested Newts, and Bats of various species. They are very professional and also pragmatic, finding ways to ensure progress can be made, whilst also ensuring compliance with statutory rules. They are kind and approachable, offering simple advice without obligation, and remain our "go to" company for ecology statements and mitigation measures. If you have a site which needs the input of a qualified ecologist, then look no further. Torc are first class, highly recommended.
We have worked with Torc on a number of our projects, specifically our Paragraph 79 proposals where we often have to deal with ecologically sensitive sites. The team are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and offer clear, project specific reports and guidance. Their input has proved invaluable, enabling us to define coherent strategies to ensure that our proposals enhance and respond sensitively to the immediate ecological setting; a key aspect to designing sustainable low impact architecture.
We have been using the services of TORC Ecology for some years now. We would highly recommend using TORC to anyone!!
Having commissioned and worked with Torc Ecology on a number of key projects, I would not hesitate to use them again. They have at all times been very professional and at the same time accommodating and flexible. Their technical knowledge is of the highest order and matched by their enthusiasm.
As Agent to many Clients in the south Norfolk/Fenland area I have had occasion to use the services of Torc Ecology Ltd.
The last time was in November 2019 when they prepared a Water Vole Survey in New Bridge Lane,Elm,Wisbech ,Cambs. Their service was first rate and their report was in my hands within 2 weeks of my first contact with them. The report will now be presented to Fenland District Council to discharge a condition.
We have worked closely with Torc Ecology Ltd on a number of our development sites and have no hesitation in recommending them. As a developer of heritage and listed buildings, we often work on sites where protected species are present. Torc have always guided us through the planning system and Natural England licencing process with professionalism and pragmatism.
